<p>Still no notice from them… Yesterday’s waitlists and today’s rejections is giving me mini heart attacks #:-S. Although the wait is petrifying, I’m relieved that I haven’t gotten any unfortunate news from them as of yet.</p>

<p>@liveonboca Thanks for the advice. I’m going to encourage her to do that if she gets rejected from UCI. She said Long Beach is fine but UCI has a better writing program which is her major. She only applied to schools in So Cal that have a good writing program.</p>

<p>Haven’t heard anything yet 
I applied as a Nursing Science major, probably their most impacted and competitive major, so I’m not expecting to get in. If anything, I’ll probably get waitlisted as Undeclared (Nurs Sci doesn’t waitlist, they either accept or reject). My GPA is extremely low and my SAT was average. </p>

ECs: about 20 hours community service at a dog shelter, speech and debate (fresh and soph years, took about 15 hours at each competition, with about 10 competitions per year, also a member of the National Forensics League), virtual business (participated in tradeshows and competitions, my schools program is nationally recognized and a part of the Virtual Enterprise International system).
My essays were also pretty good, if I do say so myself. </p>
<p>Hopefully I won’t be a part of the 1% who doesn’t get a decision until the March 31 wave. With my luck, though, I probably will be. </p>
<p>What are everyone’s plans if you do get rejected from UCI? If I get rejected, I will attend SFSU as a prenursing major!</p>

Cal poly had my hopes risen only to be dashed and i can’t believe the same happened here with irvine. Whatever. Might appeal, might not. Just feels like ■■■■.</p>
<p>Son rejected. So glad they waited for the weekend to release rejections. Not really a big loss, but interesting. UCLA being down is kind of funny in a really sick way.</p>
