Question - on the portal, is every applicant assigned a UCI Student ID regardless the admission status (admitted, waitlisted, denied)?
It would really be so disheartening if they just make us wait to send out rejection lettersâŠ
a batch of them were released yesterday at around 4pm so people believe that there is another batch of them today at 4

Some schools have periodic posts from AOs. It would be a kind gesture, especially during these stressful times, if an AO from UCI simply posted: No more decisions this weekend folks - more coming next week! Or something along those lines.
UCI posted their âcongrats class of 2024â posts on instagram and twitter. Do you guys really think that they would do that without accepting everyone first. Itâs sad but i think itâs the truth, rip.
Yes, that would be sad, and useful info about UCI. During this entire process, we have told my son to look at how a uni treats you during the admissions process, because that indicates how they will treat you as a student!
