<p>Is it bad that you haven't received a decision on the first day/batch?</p>
<p>And if you didn't do well stats wise against those in your first choice major, will they consider you for your alternate major?

<p>I'm a freshman at UCI right now and I didn't get accepted until 5:00 AM on the very last day (March 31st) and I had pretty decent grades (enough to get me into UCSB and UC Davis). Their system is just really strange. If you have excellent grades you'll be accepted probably in the first week and afterwards it's all just random. My friend got rejected 1 week earlier than I got accepted. So don't think they just leave all the rejectees for the end.</p>
<p>Everyone I know has been accepted... there's no way I can wait till the end of March.... that's crazy, anyone ever got a letter in the mail before an online decision?</p>
<p>i got my ucr mailing same day as posting 3/1, uci mailing day after on 3/2. didn't get back to you on another thread about my sat 2's but they were 560 and 540. math II and literature. GL</p>

<p>dont worry.. i know how you feel, really, cus last year, i was like you surrounding with all those people who got in already.. just be patient and wait, there is nothing to do. like coolman said, its random .. liek crazy... just random.. if u have a decent academic record, then dont worry.</p>
