UCI Decisions

I just got accepted this morning. Anthropology major.

I got accepted yesterday and although UCI is not my 1st choice, its growing on me.I’m conditionally admitted though; is that me or is everyone/anyone else in the same situation?

Me too, re: conditionally accepted. I have to send in my high school transcripts (why?) and my college transcripts. Also, I have to complete my Math prereq this Spring.

I’m just happy to have been accepted somewhere for sure.

i also have to send my hs transcripts. they don’t care about the grades they just want to make sure that you actually graduated and everything.
I also have to complete both math and english this spring

Does anyone know if they want our current college transcript? or do they want us to wait till the spring grades come out?

I’m pretty sure all acceptances are conditional.
pass the classes you’re in, send in required information, etc.
Zot!

Did anyone get a preliminary financial aid estimate yet?? I got one for UCSD already but not UCI.

Yeah, they asked for it. The deadline to submit final transcripts(at least for me) is July 15.

so does that mean I am sending 2 sets of college transcripts? one with my spring courses listed as in progress? and the second with my my final grade?

I am not sure since if they are due in july, it could mean they just want 1 set of college transcripts, my final ones with spring grades

you actually have to graduate from HS?

I have been utilizing this forum to guide me through my transfer process, and felt I needed to share my stats to “give back” to those who are still waiting and worried (i know I was).

Accepted to UCI School of Biological Sciences
GPA= 3.71 (but have a few W’s, and academic renewal on my first year at cc )
Pre-reqs.: missing o-chem, physics, and biochem/micro (A’s in any i did complete)
Essay: not my best work, misspelled a key word (replacing perserve with perverse ) , ouch.
Extra curric.: None at my school, but a ton of volunteer/community

I hope this helps anyone stressing out with the admissions wait, or worried about pre-reqs/ W’s.
