my friend has a 3.6 weighted gpa and about 1600/2400 SAT and lower SAT2's score than I did but already got into UCI for premed.</p>
<p>I have a 3.43 weighted gpa (shouldn't have taken so many AP's and gotten C's), 1800/2400 Sat and loads ( i mean really)of EC's , and I applied as a Econ major.</p>
<p>Premed isn't a major. You'll just have to wait to here from UCI...could go either way...there are a lot of factors..</p>

but i asked her again and she said biomedical engineering(isn't this a hard major to get in?) on the path as a premed, but it's funny because she hates chem and math</p>
<p>tastemyhypocrisy... i'm in a very similar situation... 3.33 GPA/ 1970 SAT... if one of us gets in, the other should too :-) good luck to both of us</p>

did you also apply to UCM or UCSC? I wouldn't mind going to these colleges, I actually really like them.</p>
