@pokun113 last years thread the last batch was April 30. All day long. From the morning to 11pm. Nonstop. If they are doing it like last year you will get a decision that day. With Gods will you get admitted!

@pgn1005 both majors make me feel dumb Lol. I am more into politics, government, policy making. Supreme Court rulings and landmark cases. Advocating for the underrepresented community, and history. That’s all my jam right there!

Can you bring a guest to Transfer Admit Day even if you are on the waitlist ? Can’t see anywhere where to find that info
@kaejae yes you may! If you registered at the very bottom it has the guest option. But even if you didn’t just do it.

Hey everyone. I am a waitlisted CS major for UCI. Should I write a letter of appeal adding information about the recent Hackathons I’ve been to and projects I’ve worked on during these Hackathons or will something like that not really make much of an impact? Just wondering if it’s worth giving a try.

@Jenner99 I checked my portal Tuesday around 5 or 6 maybe. Didn’t get the “Your portal is updated” email till the next day for some weird reason. But yea I still have a ton of CS friends who haven’t heard anything either. I was really surprised.
Update: So yesterday I got the invitation for Transfer Day at 3pm… I got put into the waitlist after only 30 minutes of sending my RSVP… Today at 9:19am-
"You have been moved off the waitlist and are now registered! We look forward to meeting you on 05/03/2019 10:00 AM for Transfer Admit Day 2019! Check-in will be located at University of California Irvine. See below for details on FREE parking.
