@makaveli96 dude I got straight A’s, multiple EC’s, very strong essays, and still flat out rejected me (no waitlist, no secondary). Don’t take it to harshly, I think UCI realized they just can’t sustain TAG for CS anymore.
@JaddATheMan I find this incredibly weird too. How can I get a Regents invite from UCLA but flat out denied from UCI? Needless to say, I’m perfectly fine with that arrangement, but it makes you think that there’s something else going on that we don’t know about

Really confused on what happened, I think it may be because I was at a UC before I went to a CC and some credits got mixed there/didn’t transfer fully, but I talked with like 4 or 5 different counselors about my TAG status and they said I qualified. Someone else I knew who had CS TAG got rejected too, maybe they hit their limit on acceptances
