Anyone (girls) interested in finding an apartment or even a house to rent that’s close to campus but that isn’t necessarily campus housing? I was looking through the housing website and the cheapest room was almost $700 with two roommates… but renting a house would be around $500 each person and everyone would have their own room. I’m not entirely set on attending UCI but housing will definitely help me make my decision.
@Elsalvador19 yes I saw that but it’s kinda vague I’m gonna call tomorrow. I wonder if me taking one class is enough each semester to still be technically attending.
So just to be clear for UCI the only financial aid that’s out right now is the Regents scholarship, right? When I was accepted at Davis for freshman admission they let us know what our financial aid was at the same time, so I just assumed we’d know right away as transfer admits too. It’s a bit frustrating since financial aid is a deciding factor for me. Or is the mid-May notification only UCI specific (for transfers)? I haven’t heard back from the other UCs I applied to (Cal & Davis) so I’m not sure if it’s only UCI that waits until mid-May.

H2h is Honors to Honors. You have to take a certain amount of honors classes in community college to be eligible

@C105213 I clicked on the “My Aid Award” link on the main page of my UCI Financial Aid account, and the page it links to just says, “Your file is complete and we are expecting to begin awarding financial aid in mid-May. You will receive notification from us once your award information is available.”
