Anyone who TAG’d and still waiting? 
Hey I’m tag and still waiting i think it’s mostly due to the fact that I didn’t receive honors or have a high gpa like most tag acceptances last week
I think the worst part of it all is that we know they have decisions made, they’re just deciding not to release them yet. Right??
LOL i tagged to uci with a 4.0 and im still waiting for my decision:/
@CalBear1998 No, the only non-TAGs to have gotten in thus far were honors to honors students. Regular applicants on this thread have not yet heard anything.
@kristinpete one of my friends at my CC got in w/o TAG for CS last Tues, he didn’t have H2H iirc
@UCSCtoUCI are you sure? That’s when h2h and tag came out. Also no one in this thread has claimed they got in without tag or h2h.
Might be a regents scholar if not TAG or H2H
@anenglishmajor From your username, I assume that you’re an English major like me. Did you TAG or H2H? Here are my stats if it helps you calm down since I was admitted on the 2nd, and my GPA isn’t that high.
GPA: 3.75
TAG: Yes
H2H: Yes
Regents: Yes
1 Year CC transfer
@purplewhale2297 My GPA is a 3.56 as of now. I’m taking 7 classes this semester and so far I have As in all so my GPA should be a 3.7 but the end of this semester. Unfortunately, none of my counselors told me about TAG and I would have qualified for it so I don’t. They also never mentioned H2H. I’m literally hearing about all this barely this semester after I already applied. I’m nervous because my GPA isn’t that high. I’m very disappointed and scared because If I had known about TAG or H2H I would have 100% qualified. Now I feel like anything I did the last 2 years doesn’t matter.
Anyone know how dropping a class would affect my admission decision? I’m a psychology major right now and I want to drop human geography because it’s not required for the major I want to switch to. It’s also not required according to assist and I’m also a TAG applicant. I emailed my counselor and she said she doesn’t know?
@africangirl97 it’s okay if you will be above 60+ units and it is not major preparation

@africangirl97 remember you will need to inform the UC though. just to be safe i would double check with them that it’s ok before dropping.

Most likely NON tag and H2H will hear back soon. So far there wasn’t much or any students who got accepted to UCI without tag or H2H. So don’t lose hope guys!
