@Uhduh12 What’s your major?
Is anyone doing Transfer Edge? I’m interested but I wanna know if anyone knows anyone who’s done it and what their experience was
Literary journalism
Got a package from UCI in the mail today. Had the acceptance letter and some super cool and cute stickers hahah. I got accepted April 2nd with TAG. I’ll definitely commit to UCI if I don’t get in to UCLA
Can’t wait to get my package later next month! Mostly likely going to commit to UCI unless UCSD’s financial aid package is too good to pass over. UCD is just too far.
Got rejected from UCD today. Really wish UCI would release Computer science rejections and acceptances already. I’m seeing tons of other majors accepted. The frustrating wait continues.
I am wondering if failure to meet conditions, will it affect my offer? It requires me to get B or better in cal II honor class. If I get C finally, what will happen?
Hey @Uhduh12 congrats!! I was also admitted as a literary journalism major.
Does anyone know how long the appeal process takes? I think I’m gonna get rejected but I think if I appeal and explain what happened I’ll have a good shot of getting in. I really want to go to UCI!
Do you guys think there will be another wave this weekend or not until next week?
@Gg1503 Next week.
@StudentAgain Thanks! Congrats to you as well! Just taking the virtual tour made me SO nervous lol
My application is still pending…
Did anyone hear back today?
Still pending here. Been waiting for UC Santa Barbara since March, too lol
Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why Irvine doesn’t release financial aid info until after admission, rather than at the same time (like other UCs)?
@jordanh16 What? Many other UCs release financial aid info later…
Frankly, that’s just how it is.
@mtar25 same here ! it’s starting to worry me
@fisher316 Failure to meet ALL parts of the Transfer Agreement Conditions will affect your offer and will most likely result in them taking away your admission offer. Please meet all your conditions to maintain your offer.
I just got the package too. Admitted on April 2nd.
@jjang25 I am not really sure which program is better. But if I had to choose between UCI and UCLA, I would choose UCLA for sure. I lived in Irvine for 7 months, and I have been living in LA for 3 years now. And, in my opinion, LA is way better than Irvine in terms of social life. Irvine is kinda dead. Also, I have been to both campuses. UCLA’s campus is way better.
