UCI Fall 2019 Transfer Thread

@rsandan it looks like you should get in! If you don’t, you should definitely appeal the decision. Good luck!

why do you guys think it takes them so long to reply to cs majors other than the fact that it is super impact

@Mustafamanya123 we’re in the same boat mate, cs tag have not heard anything from them yet.
gpa 3.5

Hi guys,
I got in admitted for UCI; however, I can only provide my high school transcript for last two yrs. Does it influence my admission? Btw, I didn’t get degree for high school. Thank you!

@fisher316 Did they reply you anything about transcript?
Thank you!

oh okay! Strange considering Its already late April

@Achen459 yes, my counselor replied me finally. I also sent my high school transcript without graduation date to them, it works and approved! Just let them know first then send whatever you had. They only care about your college transcript.

@AChen459 I also haven’t graduate from high school too. It’s doesn’t matter, just send message to your counselor and explain.

Thank you so much, but where can I know who is my counselor?

cs tag over here too. All requirements met and 3.5 gpa

informatics general applicant still pending

@AChen459 just send message through message center. Counselor’s name is on the right of main page if you are admitted.

Has anyone received an email about their financial aide acceptance from Irvine but no actual admission decision has been posted yet. ?
I literally am able to login to my financial aide information through their website and it shows information about my upcoming aide offers… wondering if this is or was the case for anyone else?

@LEVITATE the financial aid office works separately from admission office so any notifications from financial aid does not mean anything about your admission unfortunately. Unless somehow they are showing your actual aid amount which would be unusual since they said they would release early May

Thanks for clarifying. Did you or anyone receive the same email around February 9th. ?

bus major with a 3.5 gpa still waiting to hear back. all prereqs are done except calc. So far I got accepted into UCD, SJSU and Cal Poly. I really hope I get accepted by UCI

@tyson552 Same major, I sent them my calc 1 and 2 scores and they acknowledged my calc 2 grade i got A in this spring by sending a message that said “thanks for the update”

Sigh, I saw peeps in our major with 3.3’s get in. I don’t know if they emphasize the personal statements as much as UCB or UCLA.

So happy today as the UCI counselor confirmed that I can drop the class I wanted and the UCI housing said they accept Housing voucher too. I want to live onxcampus because they also provide childcare with good program. All my stress is released. Now I have more time to enjoy SJ with my daughter before we move out… So happy.

@Bibihcmvn Congrats!
