I got waitlisted ???

This is making me scared because I don’t know what this would mean for UCLA…

but after seeing people here who got into Berkeley getting waitlisted i’m a little less stressed. Your GPA is great though, Id be shocked if you don’t get into UCLA

@HarleyTheQuinn Don’t fret about it! I know someone who got into UCLA last year with similar stats, but got waitlisted to Uci. UCI is super weird with admissions.
So irvine really releases in A/W/R batches huh
@jjangg Right?! I feel like competition I just increasing every year. I think my major is impacted at UCI

Seems like all of the rejections come last. Haven’t seen anyone post a rejection from UCI yet.
For those who received a decision already, did you receive an email to check your admission portal? Or did you just happen to log in & found an update to your status?
@Ray85 I just checked my portal around noon time. I didn’t get an e-mail.
I got waitlisted at UCI…
I just check UCI portal today around 4pm and no email notification
@Ray85 Yeah I was accepted with TAG in the beginning of the month and got an email around 8:30 pm saying my application was updated so I checked lol.

Yes there was an email sent during the first week of April to check your portal.
Ah the waitlist. I guess It’s over now, lol. Though I did appreciate that they said I was a strong candidate. Who knows how long this will take…I mean I wanted to live on campus but I’ll probably be late for the housing applications depending on whether or not I’m admitted. Financial aid is another issue as well!
