If you get the UCI Financial Aid completion reminder, does it mean anything or everyone gets this email. Thanks.

I got the e-mail
still no word on admission
I guess they just want u to get ready for possible financial aid stuff

Which is like due next friday with FAFSA

I have an issue though, my parents are pretty darn broke and I have immigration documentation issues

my student visa is expired and I was getting resident status this year but I don't think it'll happen til next January.

So I probably wont get any financial aid, I can get another Student visa though

u guys think I'll at least get in-state tuition? (Ive lived in Cali for over 6 years)

^ I got one too. It's just a reminder to do the FAFSA, not a signal as to your admissions decision. Don't read too much into it.

*** guys!

I got ANOTHER FINANCIAL AID MESSAGE telling me they send it "by error"

because they say I'm an "International applicant therefore not qualify"

*** man!

I am a Mexican citizen but CA resident, also I have CA resident parents and even though I'm in Abroad, that doesn't mean I'm INT

What do I do?

^ I don't know. Try e-mailing their Financial Aid Office...

I'm confused haik....will you graduate from a CAlifornia HS which you attended for three+ years? Do your parents still live in California? If so, you should be considered a resident for tuition purposes. However, Internationals are not eligible for federal nor UC finaid.

question is whether Haiku is legally a US permanent resident. That might account for the difference.

Im a CA resident, parents are CA residents

The thing is I ALREADY GRADUTED FROM HS

Im Abroad in Mexico
