So I got into UCR and UCI. UCR offered me a financial aid package in the form of a:
FEDERAL DIRECT STAFFORD LOAN
FED DIRECT UNSUB STAFFORD LOAN
FEDERAL DIRECT PARENT PLUS LOAN
From my understanding these loans are accepted due to my FAFSA information and should be available with all UC’s.
UCI however has not said anything about my financial aid package. Do they have a different process? Is there a change I will not get any financial aid in the form of federal loans?
I got into both (but I’m choosing UCI) as well but I haven’t got contacted from UCR with a financial aid package. Is it in your portal? But also i would like to the know the answers to the questions you asked. I haven’t even been able to go on My Aid yet because it tells me it’s experiencing too many people trying to get on / already on?

If you don’t mine me asking, when was the date that you were sent your acceptance from UCI? @CasimirEffect
Most UC’s have very similar financial aid distribution systems, however there may be some changes from one school to another. Most likely you will get a very similar financial aid packet from UCI
