I remember last year's letters to Norcal were only delayed one day.

does that mean that those receive the CHP postcard are unofficially admitted to UCI?

I can't imagine that you would be invited to the honors program and not get accepted.

Also, for those of you that got the card, what does it say?
Is it a letter or postcard and is it an invite to the Honors Day in March?

For those of you who where invited, include the School you applied to if you list your stats.

This is from the CHP website:
"Some entering freshmen are invited to the Program while in their senior year in high school. Faculty in the school at UCI in which the student's major resides, based on the student's UC Irvine Admissions Application, makes this selection. Invitational letters are sent in early March or April and are conditional upon the students' acceptance by UCI Admissions."

SAT I = 2170

ECs = plenty

My SAT IIs are really low because I didn't really care about them (really bad, I know), but I don't think so much weight is put on them.

What lecture are you guys attending? I think I'll see the Biological Sciences one, although that's not where my major is...but I think seeing a science lecture would be fun =]

I'm also getting a turkey sandwich, lol.

I'm looking forward to this! :)

does anyone know if this is related to regents (full) scholarship?

760M 720R 650W UCGPA-? (4.2 on 4.0 unweighted...no idea how to calculate UC)

i got CHP too. Is it a really good program? like worth passing up some other colleges for?

CHP is treated very well here at UCI. For example, CHP students are the first to register for classes (even before non-CHP seniors). Consider it. Read more about it via their website.

I got CHP and regents through email today and got that card a couple days ago.
