<p>i'm picking mesa court...but i dont know which hall to pick..They all have different interests and orientations...which one should i pick if i am a bio major?</p>
<p>however, so far, i like the technology hall..it would be nice having somebody fix my laptop in case it breaks down :)</p>

<p>I think they send you a housing package during the summer, then you pick your dorm and theme.</p>
<p>I stayed in Middle Earth for the Stay-Over Program last night and liked it. I've also checked out Mesa Court a couple times and liked it. Mesa Court has bigger rooms, but is further away from stuff and supposedly the food is better at Middle Earth.</p>
<p>I kind of liked the layout for Middle Earth. The Stay over thing was great, tons of fun. No one in the hall I was staying in went to bed until like 3 am. They all said that was a normal night. </p>
<p>I'm rooming with my friend from school and were gonna room in Mesa Court though. Anyway, I'm really psyched to go to UCI!</p>

<p>i went to uci the other day and got the whole housing tour for both me and mc... i think that mc is at least a little better since the food there is freshly grilled and u urself can watch them make it. not really with me. bigger rooms are definately a plus for me... me also has a small gym, but its too small for me to do nething in. there both good, but i would personally choose mesa court for sure.</p>

<p>Phase I is the first wave of housing UCI built, and Phase IV would be the last wave of housing UCI built.</p>
<p>my dad and I went to go try the food at mc. it is absolutely disgusting;its like hospital food and a little worse than high school cafeteria food.-</p>

<p>We have some form of meat every day at dinner now. It could be a huge piece of beef, chicken, or turkey they slice and serve.</p>

oh yea an someone said the gym is really small....is it really that small?...i mean do they even have weights and stuff in there...?</p>

<p>My friend and I are planning to room together in Mesa Court. He told me that if you request to be in a leadership hall you get the newer MC dorms. That might be true this year, but I'd imagine it changes from year to year? I'd just prefer to be in a regular hall.</p>

<p>^ pippin @ ME has a grill too. we also have brandywine, where they make your sandwiches/burgers right in front of you..</p>

<p>if i remember correctly, all of that housing stuff is done online. they don't really ask you much other than sleeping habits, smoking, and.. thats basically about it haha. </p>
<p>the main gym (aka the ARC) is much much much much larger than Helm's Deep (the gym in middle earth) and it is way closer to Middle Earth than Mesa Court . there's actually a direct walking path that leads from ME to the ARC. helm's deep is cool though if you dont feel like walking 10 min to the arc. they have the basics.</p>
