Hey, did anyone receive their housing contracts to sign up for the dorms yet? Thanks

They usually send them out late May/early June

Thanks, do we get a detailed selection list when selecting roommates such as smoker/non smoker, tidyness, etc.?

As far as I remember, they ask about smoking, sleeping/waking up times, and how often you clean your room.

So... would they match up two people who don't clean their rooms often? Haha, that would be interesting. Can you switch roommates during the school year?

You would really have to have an exceptional case for them to allow you to change roommates mid-year. Their philosophy is to try to get the two roommates to work out their differences.

I just got my housing contract and one of the option for housing is rise early or rise late. by late, do they mean like 8-9 am late or 11-12 late?
because on weekdays I usually get up at 6-7 am because of school, but on weekends when there's nothing to do, I usualyl wake up at 11.
So, should I put rise early or late in this case?

there's also another option that will give my name, address, and phone number to my future roomate(s), do people normal do this? is it a good idea to release my information to future roomates?

I'm not sure what they mean by late, just go with what you think. They aren't gunna perfectly match you with someone anyway. I honestly don't know though what they mean by late/early although I'd say anything before 12 is early and anything after maybe 2 could be considered late. I'd give them your information cause then you can maybe talk/chat with your future roomie a few weeks before you actually move in. You're going to be living with them, I can't see why you wouldn't give them your email/phone number. But that's just what I think. It definitely is normal to give your info to your future roomie.

Go by what you do on weekdays. Weekends wont be that big of deal because chances are either you or your roomate wont be there on the weekend so it wont affect anything.
