I got an email from UCI saying that they have received my application and gave me a UC Irvine Student Number, however when I go to the link and enter the information it asks me to, it says that the ID number I entered could not be found...but it is the same number UCI gave me. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm entering the numbers right but I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem as well >_<

you got an email from UCI? When? And when did you apply? Sorry that I’m not answering your question, but I didn’t get one from UCI ): only got one from UCSD

I received the email on 12/12 and activated the same day with no problems.

different areas (English, history, Math Level 2, science or language other

single administration.

You only need to have your official score report sent to one UC campus you have
applied to and all of the UC Campuses you have applied to will automatically
receive the report.

Hmm that’s weird for some reason it still says that the ID I have entered is incorrect or something.

And @ucsdorucla, I submitted my app like on the 26th or something, hopefully you will hear from them soon :)

I am having the same exact problem with my UCInetID activation! I keep getting the following error message:
The ID number you entered could not be found. Please check the number you entered, and try again, or contact the OIT Help Desk at 824-2222 for assistance.

I called the OIT help desk 3 times and they were SO unhelpful. They told me to talk to admissions & records but they are not in the office until 1/3.

Have you been able to activate it yet? I’m still not having any luck! :(

No rush man, you’re gonna be staring at the “We are currently reviewing your application” page for months. XD

yep… same problem here

Did anyone else get this email with the wrong name? Mine was addressed to the wrong name but the UCI net id was my first initial and last name. I’m hoping it was a glitch and isn’t a problem.

Hey everyone I emailed UCI yesterday and just got a reply back saying that the problem should be fixed now hooray!

the problem fixed for everyone? or did they fix it individually for you? and what uci email did you send to addressing the problem?

This was what they sent me back:

Hello,

Please try now. Should be working.

Sarkis Daglian
OIT
949 824 2222

And I emailed UCI through oit@uci.edu. Are you still having a problem with the activation?

Actually it just worked right now, thank god. Thanks a lot for the help!

Yay I’m glad it worked for you too!
