<p>i’m pretty sure you’re right. because i talked to my counselor today and he said i didn’t have to finish all of my pre-reqs and i’m an english major. i’ve seen the brochure and my major isn’t listed there as having any required courses so i think it’s safe to say that’s what TAG is talking about. </p>
<p>so i’m pretty sure you need to have what the brochure lists, plus whatever else you can finish from the assist articulation. </p>
<p>but yeah check with your counselor or call uci just in case!</p>
<p>I can vouch for this. I’m an Engineering major and I’m gonna be missing a few prereqs at the end of spring semester before transferring and my TAG was still accepted at UCI. Oddly enough, in the brochure under the School of Engineering, one of the requirements states “Complete additional approved courses specified for selected major as articulated
at <a href=“http://www.assist.org”>www.assist.org</a>”. My guess is you don’t need to have them all completed, but the wording they used could’ve been better on their part</p>
<p>So how would this play out if I put recommended courses as planned on my TAG and then drop them and notify the colleges. Will that void my TAG? I’ll still maintain the unit count needed.</p>
