Here's the deal:
I'm going to start at UCI this fall as a Business Econ major. I want to minor in something, and my options are Accounting, ICS, and Informatics.

I want to rule out Accounting because UCI limits students admitted in that minor, and I know my transfer GPA (3.95) isn't competitive enough. Also, I'm sure content would overlap with my major.

I would really like to get into the Bren school with a minor in ICS or Informatics, because in this age, there is such a huge job market for people who are tech-savvy. But, what do I choose?

I would say Informatics, but only because the ICS minor requires Discrete Math, and as a Business Econ major, I will be taking so many math classes already. BUT, Informatics requires 8 courses, and ICS only requires 7. I'm stuck. Help me choose? Which one will help me in the long-run and will open doors for more careers?
