UCI Nursing program major

I am graduating high school this year and I would like to know if this major is realistic for me.( I live in California). Mexican and Italian
3.80 unweighted gpa(UC weighted)
4.30 gpa(UC weighted)(1 ap sophomore yr, 5 junior yr, 4 senior year/ all As in Ap through ought HS)
Waterpolo, swimming basketball are my sports
100+ hours of volunteering at my nearby hospital
SAT chem score 720
SAT Math2 score 720
SAT will take in October, expecting a >1350
I took Ap Chem and Biology accelerated and had As all semesters
will get my recommendations from my lab manager at the hospital and my Ap chemistry teacher.
ECs are excellent I don’t want to name them here, but I definitely am very involved in my community and myself.

With a 2.5% acceptance rate, no applicant has a good chance but you are competitive so far based on your posted profile. Best of luck.

Fall 2018 freshman applicants: 2,887
Fall 2018 freshman admissions: 72 (2.5% admitted)
Average UC GPA: 4.24 GPA
Average total SAT score: 1914
Average total SAT score (new version): 1332

@Italy2002 I agree you are competitive but UCI is so competitive so who knows. One thing IMHO I would definitely work on the SAT score if possible. If you raise it to the 1400s or 1500s you solidify your ground. Your activities and gpa look good so congrats on your hard work
