I was recently accepted into UCI as an undeclared major. But now I'm considering nursing, but is it possible for me to switch my undeclared major to a nursing major?

I think you can switch it later on, but in the meantime, those of us who went through the hassle of filling out that nursing supplemental still haven’t received our acceptance. Not to be rude, but wait your turn.

Nursing is an impacted major, from what I know/heard. My guess is, you will have to fulfill the pre-requisites in order to change majors. Go to the nursing major info session/workshop during orientation.

yes, Nursing is a very difficult major to switch to since it is impacted. Not only do you have to fulfill the pre-requisites, but you should receive better than average grades. check here: [UCI Change of Major Criteria: College of Health Sciences](http://www.changeofmajor.uci.edu/CoM_HlthSci.html) .

Nursing is an impacted major and it isn’t easy to switch into. You must take major required courses throughout your freshman and sophomore years and then fill out a supplemental application. It’s extremely competitive since there are limited spots for change of major students, transfers students, and second bachelor degree students.

I’m currently taking courses and trying to switch in.

It’s competitive for freshmen students as well. It’s competitive period.

I was thinking of applying to UCI to join their Nursing program and I was wondering what my chances of getting in are if I dont take part in any honors classes at school. I have like a 3.7/3.8 gpa.
PLEASE HELP
