<p>It is the case that we will be taking a very limited number of transfers (approximately 15 to 20) and California Community College transfers will receive first priority. You will want to contact the UCI Admissions office at 949-824-6703: </p>

<p>We also offer two minors, one in Accounting and Management that are open to all majors (students do apply for these programs). We will not be reviewing calculus course equivalents for potential transfers. These courses will be reviewed if a student is admitted.</p>

<p>That really sucks. Would i be able to apply for Business Econ and switch to Business Admin once im accepted? BTW im a CSU student</p>

<p>I’m guessing this is for the Business Administration Major? If so, I think that they are accepting only a few (15-20) like you said because it’s such a new major. Also, I don’t think you would be allowed to transfer in because then everybody would do that, but I could be wrong.</p>

<p>You CAN transfer in. I was planning on applying as a Bus. Econ. major in Winter so I wouldn’t have to wait until Fall, and apply to switch to Business Administration in Fall 2010, but they’re not taking applications for Winter 2010 =[. Well here’s the Criteria to switch to Business Administration:</p>

<p>Requirements:</p>

<p>Students must meet BOTH requirements:</p>

<pre><code>* 2.70 GPA

  • 2.00 GPA for the quarter prior to changing major.

<p>Course grades</p>

<p>Students must complete ALL of the following requirements:</p>

<pre><code>* Completion of Mathematics 2A-B

  • Completion of Economics 20A-B
  • Management 7, 30A, 30B
  • An average 3.00 GPA in all required management courses completed at the time of application.

<p>Other </p>

<pre><code>* Applications for change of majors will be accepted for Fall 2010 (with applications being made in Spring 2010). Please be advised that completion of the prerequisite courses does not guarantee admission into the major; space is very limited.   • Junior-level standing (90 or more units).

<p>can you really transfer into the major after you’ve been accepted for another major, i’m not sure they’ll allow this, you should email the admissions to see if they’ll allow this</p>
