UCI or Cal poly pomona for Chem Engr?

because now i am in a dilemma, i am confused about the universities.
i am a transfer student. Now i am applying UCI and Cal poly pomona.
i wonder which one has better Chem Engr program and which one is better for employer.

I would recommend UC Irvine. Good luck.

can u tell why?
because i am a foreign student, the tuition is also an issue for me.
furthermore, the graduated education is another condition.

UC Irvine has a better reputation and is more respected

UC Irvine is ranked #42 out of the best Engineering schools, while Cal Poly Pomona isn't even ranked. If you're planning to study in California, look at UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Davis, UC San Diego, and UC Santa Barbara.

If reputation is any concern for you and if you aren't limited to attending a California school, look at these schools:

University of Minnesota - Twin Cities
Massachusetts Inst of Technology
University of Wisconsin-Madison
U of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
California Institute Technology
University of Delaware
Princeton University
University of Texas at Austin
University of Pennsylvania
Carnegie Mellon University
Cornell University
Northwestern University
Purdue University
University of Houston
University of Michigan
University of Washington

as i though, i'd rather choose the UCSD, which i am also applying, if i am paying the same tuition. although, UCSD is harder to be admitted than UCI.
reputation is the only better condition for UCI, isn't it? or, is there any better condition?

You might want to look into UCSB as well. It has a better reputation in ChemE and its selectivity is similar to UCI.

if those two are your choice pick UCI...

I would pick UCI.
