UCI or UCD

UCD offers both economics and managerial economics, but not business. Economics is a BA and man economics is a BS. Man economics requires a minimum gpa be maintained in five prerequisite classes and is a little harder to get into. It is much more of a business degree.

Voiceofreason:

Please explain why UCD has lower SATs and higher accept rates than UCI and UCSB. ANd also why UCD is falling in the rankings. From 40 to 47 in two years!!!

The fall in rankings has been beaten to death. There was a misreporting to USNews regarding the number of professors with PHD's which caused the sudden slip. This same thing happend to UCSB awhile back and it takes several years to recover. UCSB and UCD are tied in the ranking BTW dude.

you complete ignore one part of my post.
"Please explain why UCD has lower SATs, lower HS GPA, and higher accept rates than UCI and UCSB."

remember, this is brefore the "misreporting"

ucd has always been behind in such categories

And explain why UCD have lower h.s GPA too please.

Whats your point dude? SAT's are only one part of the overall criteria for rankings. So your saying UCD had lower SAT's even when they were ranked higher? Give me a link to your assertions.

check usnews, ucop publications, school websites

its funny that someone that post as often as you did not "know" this

how conveniently u ignore it as u troll

You seem to be the troll. I take note of your total of 6 posts. You provide assertions with no proof.

"ucd has always been behind in such categories"
Start by proving this. What does always mean?

go ahead, u have a brain

go visit hte aforementioned website

post here when u disagree after seeing the facts

otherwise, i will assume tha tu are blindly trolling

The burden of proof is on you dude. I already proved you wrong with facts on another thread.

go ahead, voice of reason

i KNOW u have access to US News data.
Post the SAT and acceptanc rate of the three schools

http://www.ucop.edu/news/factsheets/Flowfrc_9505.pdf

you KNOW the proof, u just don't wanna admit it, troll!

ive grown up in davis and after 17 years i can still say that the town of davis is amazing. (i personally am not going to attend ucd because spending 21 years of my life in the same town would be ridiculous.) davis has such a unique culture-- if you're from davis you know about events like whole earth, farmers market, and picnic day, which pretty much every citizen of davis attends. i can guarantee if you attend davis you would get a complete college experience. as for the parties, my friend in irvine has only gone to one party this semester.. while my friends at davis go every weekend. and my friend at irvine is a hot chick too so it's not like she wouldnt be able to get in!
anyway, if i didnt grow up here, ucd would for sure be appealing to me... dont listen to that sh** that it is a crappy town. the only condition in which i would not recommend davis is if you are a superficial republican.
and PS did someone say that davis is not safe?? are u kidding me... we had one murder case in 15 years.

Actually I don't have access dude. Go back and read the post applying a little reading comprehension. I said thanks to CE Man for supplying the information (from anothrer of his posts). Now whose the troll?

i see you have no defense for UCD being less selective objectively

your ignoring the data, here for all of CC to see!!!

i rest my case, troll!

Voiceofreason,

The data CE Man posted were from ucdavis engineering. -_-' Please. 3rd source please?

Go back and re-read dude.

stop igonring the truth, voiceofreason

if u posted as often as u did on this forum, u might have gotten into UCI and UCSB

I did not apply to UCI. I was accepted into UCSD, UCSB and UCD.
