<p>Umm... Peppers, the Defense Industries are SoCal based? Moffet Field, Lockheed Martin, NASA, Travis AFB, and Alliant, all NorCal based.</p>

<p>Erm.. If you guys havent noticed, this thread has become more of an argument thread. I'm in the same situation as the original poster. I know a lot of the views are biased and skewed but if any of the posters can give us a more non-biased about the schools, it would be much better =D I want to know academically wise, which school is overall better and strength of science. I've heard davis is very good (but it's kinda close to home, which discourages me from attending) but UCI is more of a commuter school and if I dont have a car, I'm pretty much stuck there(I want to get out sometimes, go shopping, visit LA particulary).</p>
