UCI or UCSD for computer science

<p>so i an a cc transfer, i have gotten accepted to UCI (Donald Bren School (ICS)) in the spring and now I have gotten accepted to UCSD (Eleanor Roosevelt College) off the weight-list, i don't know what to do. i like both school pretty much equally.
my major is computer science and both the schools are great for that major, i like the environment of both the schools equally, maybe SD a little more since its right next to san diego which is a beautiful city but pretty much equal, but i heard that CS major is really hard at UCSD as most other majors in that school. i don't want all my time to be preoccupied with studying (most but not all) 1 so which one is harder?
2 what about the social life i heard that sd has no social life since everyone is always studying?
also which school ucsd Eleanor Roosevelt College or uci Donald Bren School (ICS) is better for computer science</p>

<p>i seem to not be able to pick one over the other, which one would you recommend and why?
Thanks In Advance</p>

<p>The supposed rigor of UCSD’s CS program might have something to do with the fact that it’s one of the top CS programs in the UC system, behind Berkeley.</p>

<p>Also, Eleanor Roosevelt College is just sort of an undergraduate “community” - it, and the other colleges, has no bearing on computer science.
([How</a> Does the College System Work?](<a href=“http://www.ucsd.edu/prospective-students/colleges/about/index.html]How”>UC San Diego - Compass))</p>

<p>I have no experience with the workload of UCSD vs. Irvine or the social life, so I can’t comment on that.</p>

<p>Ucsd- better school in my opinion</p>
