Try searching "uci or ucsd". You'll find a bunch of info that's already been posted.

none of the posts address both in a general sense.
i guess i can also add that at ucsd i was admitted to revelle college with a major in communication and at uci my major is psychology.

if i go to ucsd, i intend to change my major to psychology.

Have you visited both campuses? Which do you prefer? Which is better for psychology?

i have visited both and prefer sd, but i dont know which is better for psychology and which is better campus life wise..

any opinions on that?

I'm sure you've heard about how the SD campus is dead, which is true during afterhours. There is a farmer's market on Tuesday and the occasional frat rush/job/study abroad fairs on Library Walk. The beaches are quite pristine. Other than that, it's quite lonely here.

I would go to UCSD hands down, but I've heard from my cousin (he went to UCSD) that if you go there, you are very likely to get into depression

funny, then that you say you would go 'hands down.'

I wouldn't recommend SD. I'm pulling an intercampus transfer for Fall 06.

so your reason for transfer is because its a dead campus?

ive heard that about uci because many students are commuter students...
