UCI Rejection / Appeal

<p>I really wanted to get into UCI but I got rejected. I thought my specs were good enough to get in. Can you guys check my spec and give some advice weather I should appeal to UCI?</p>

SAT: 1880 (M: 690 CR: 590 W: 600) SAT II: 800, 650
Good UC Essay (I believe)
School Club President for 3 years.
Boy Scout of America (Eagle Scout)
High School Band (State Honor Band)
Worked
Volunteer (350+hours)
Sports (Wrestling non-school activity)</p>

<p>stats should have gotten you in but admissions were unpredictable this year. One of my friend got waitlisted for UCI with a 1650 SAT and 3.5 WEIGHTED and I got rejected with a 1780 SAT and 3.4 UNWEIGHTED (appealing) for the same major. At this point, you have to decide how you can persuade the admission officers to reverse their decision. I say do it if you can think of something…no bad in trying but if you’re just repeating the same thing then I say forget it.</p>
