What is my chance of getting into UCI or SDSU with these stats?
Weighted UC GPA - 3.75
SAT Score - 1170
SDSU - I would say that you are a decent match, and if you improve your SAT + GPA a bit, you’ll definitely have a good shot.
UCI -Your GPA is on the low side for a mid-tier UC, and your SAT score isn’t going to help. Unless you have some really awesome ECs I would recommend trying your best to improve your GPA, and to study and retake the SAT (or try ACT).

SDSU admits by major and eligibility index (CSU/UC GPA x800 ) + (SAT Math + CR). Your EI= 4170. Above a 4100 is desired and can make you competitive depending upon major.
For UCI, I agree that it will be a tough admit with a UC GPA below the 25th percentile (3.93) and below average test scores. Remember UC’s also consider your essays and EC’s and hopefully you can bump up your test scores and GPA by years end.
