UCI student profile question

Hello,

I was browsing the UCI site and I came upon the freshman profile http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/campuses/irvine/freshman-profile/ and it said that the, High School GPA is
3.93 - 4.22. Since I know the UCs only take the 10-12 academic GPA, I was wondering if they mean by the Highschool GPA scale listed on the website, that that is the weighted 10-12 GPA for the freshman profile of UCI? It was very confusing for me, can someone enlighten me on this issue?

I believe it should be weighted 10-11 grade.

It is the capped weighted UC GPA (10-11th grades for a-g courses) with the maximum 8 Honors points used in the calculation.
UCLA/UCB will also post the fully weighted UC GPA with unlimited Honors points awarded so you will see GPA ranges above 4.4 in their Freshman profile (no on UC website but the UCLA/UCB websites).
