UCI tag question

I am sorry if there is a general section for these or something I am new so please don't get mad if i messed up but yea PLEASE help me out and give me some answers and such =D

I have a tag with UCI for this fall and my major is business econ. One of the agreements of the tag is that I have to get a B on my math class this semester. So far I have not been doing good I totally bombed my first test and I really need to step it up to get a B. I got an email from UCI saying they want a midterm grade report just for my math class in a week or it might jepordize my standings for admission. 0_0 I really did not see this coming since they never asked for these in highschool, and I never thought they would want like incomplete grades. I am like freaking out cuz I have like an F in the class RIGHT NOW. I was gonna try to bring it up again since theres alot of points in the class left before the end of the semester.

So my question is

1) When I show them that I am currently failing the class will my TAG be affected?

2) If for some reason I cant get a B and I get a C trying to, will I like get totally rejected by UCI? I have GPA of 3.4 ish but the C will probably bring me down a bit. Is it possible for me to just be accepted? or is it once i fill out a TAG I have to fill out the requirments or I cant go the school?

I have like transferities or something =/ but now im really scared I wont go to the school I want to go to cuz I messed around too much early in the semester.

Im not sure, but if your requirement is for you to get at least a B in your math class, you might get F'ed. Ask your counselor ASAP and see if you can get away with a C, otherwise try harder for a B. But I doubt UCI would outright reject you for having a C in the math class if you're already accepted. Is it a pre-req class?

yea it is for my major =/ I hope i dont get screwed over. i should not have not messed around as much

Well, the midterm grade checkup will just to view how you are excelling in the math course (should be a form of transferrable calculus such as 5a or 5b). It will jepordize your TAG program agreement but it will not immediatly deny you from UCI. Although I highly recommend you to step up your performance in the math course because math is very essential to Business Economics and is a prerequisite for admission to that major which will be viewed intensly.
