<p>I heard back last week from UCI and my appeal was denied. Possibly because I appealed to UCSB and was accepted there. I think UCI is completely disorganized and has caused a lot of stress for people waiting only to send out a rejection.</p>
<p>I appealed to UCSB as well and got in but denied it in hopes that my appeal for UCI will come through soon and I’m still waiting to hear back. If they’re going to take SO long might as well just deny all the appeals. I honestly don’t even get the point of waiting anymore, all the classes are most likely full by now and orientation and everything is already done with. When do they plan on letting the appeals know, the day before class starts. Seriously really annoyed with the whole UCI admissions and appeals process.</p>
<p>I can’t withdraw from my backup/current university anymore. The deadline has passed. So it doesn’t matter anymore. Good luck to the rest of you.</p>

oh well it was too late for me to opt out of my current uni anyway. but seriously disappointed with UCI’s time management skills and their entire appeal/admission process</p>
