Does anyone else have a provisional admission?

@ kay1541

Everyone has a provisional admission at every UC.

@ rickyseg

I did’t think that TAG was exclusive to 2 year transfers; what makes you say that? You seem to meet all requirements

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE FOR TAG?

A California community college applicant who:

Many students who are not eligible for TAG are still exceptionally well-qualified and are strongly encouraged to apply for admission to UC Irvine through the regular application process during the filing period. For fall 2013 admission the UC Application filing period is November 1-30, 2012. Students may apply online at www.universityofcalifornia.edu/apply.

I got in but it says under provision that I have to finish all my pre-reqs, which is impossible. The pre-reqs I’m missing are Spanish 2,3,4. So I’m wondering if they knew that I can’t possibly finish it, why did they accept me? Also it says on assist that my major is not required to finish all pre-req. So I’m a bit confused.

@ucDrone, Its not its the 30 unit requirement by the summer before which wouldnt happen for me for two reasons 15+ units for my total came from AP classes that doesnt count towards the initial 30 needed for tag but counts for the total 60. 2nd was that I took 14 units last semester and 19 this so i had only around half of what i needed to tag by the end of the summer.

It seems like all the poli sci majors are getting their acceptances and I am super paranoid that I won’t get one. When do you think they’ll stop sending this batch of majors out? omg :(

don’t think they’re sending out specifically by major…not sure

I assumed it was by majors because those who TAG’ed also had to wait–even though they technically had guaranteed admissions.
