Have any UC to UC transfers hear back yet?

Heard*

Getting really nervous with all these acceptances! Congratulations to those who have been accepted though :)

So nobody has posted rejections yet. Good sign?

@kimmmy nope i’m a uc-uc. i got a supplemental questionnaire, but that’s it. where are you transferring from?

All the recent acceptances on this thread had over 3.5 GPAs (I think except for one that I saw). Do you guys know if anyone below 3.5 or around that range got accepted?

@fuzzyduck22 I’m trying to transfer from UCR! You?

The fact that no one is posting rejections is what’s making me so nervous.

@kimmmy UCD! I saw (many pages back…) a few people getting rejected, but I’m not sure if they were trolling or not… It seemed legit…

@fuzzyducky22 It seems like all the people getting accepted in this thread are from community colleges & many had the opportunity to TAG.

You don’t like Davis? :o I actually applied there as well.

Yea most are cc with pretty high GPAs… I personally just dont like it here Most people do though!

Strengths: Exceptional extracurriculars and volunteer work, three years of original research, strong personal statement.
Weaknesses: “Bad” grades early in community college career. Some ups and downs. (Academically renewed…however, this still left some C’s here and there.)
Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Unique and impressive extracurriculars/soon-to-be-published original research. Obvious potential and dedication demonstrated despite early setbacks…for example, I took eight academic classes one semester (at two schools) and got a 4.0.

@fuzzyducky22 yeah I feel the same way about UCR. I applied to UCD because it’s a bit closer to home.

It’s so hard to find recent stats for admitted UC to UC transfers so all Im using to ease my nerves are these college confidential posts haha.

@kimmmy same here! but it’s not helping seeing everyone getting in and seeing that mine is still pending >__<

@kimmmy I’m also transferring from UCR! I wonder if any other UC-UC transfers have heard. It’s making me nervous :/

Wait youre a 1st gen college student and youre at >200,000 income bracket?

GPA: 3.85
Major: Pharmaceutical Sciences
prerequisites: Missing a semester of O Chem and Physics
TAG: Yes

Biological Sciences was my first choice, however I was debating whether to switch out of Biological Sciences into Pharmaceutical Sciences but I guess they made that choice for me.

@hopefulhippo

I was accepted yesterday with a [crappy] 3.22 GPA into my chosen major [English]. I’m still in shock. (:

@fkhan0

That makes me even more afraid because I have a 3.33 but it seems like all the poli sci majors have gotten admitted so I’m worried that if I don’t get anything then they rejected me.

Also, does anyone know if they still release decisions after 9AM? I know some people checked later in the day but if I keep refreshing the page. If they stop releasing after 9AM then that’ll probably help me to stop being so obsessive in vain.

@SaraaC cool! Are you a second year as well? Feels like there are barely any UC-UC transfers in this forum :(. +theres so much speculation over if it’s harder or equally hard for UC-UC transfers than community college transfers. Dont know what to believe! Good luck! :)
