@JerryOnly I hear ya. Last week they released a batch of decisions on March 6th so MAYBE they’ll release some tonight. In the end, who really knows the absolute day…

On the uci application site it says decisions are posted for each day by 9am

And that you will receive an email the day it’s up

I looked through last years UCI thread to compare and it seems like they released a batch in early march (like this year) but then there was a big gap till april… *sigh

What a bummer. Oh well… at least we’ll all know for sure in april.

April seems like an eternity…

So just one batch in March? Then we gotta wait until April? Awwwwwwh… :(

got an email from UCI…saying “thank you” freakin trolls.

^Lmao. I received the same e-mail.

^^Same here. They should have sent that before admissions started going out. What does that matter to me lol

anticipate more blue-ball emails from uci… they did that a lot last year when I applied as a freshman… I don’t think im getting in this year either.

<— full tuition covered through VA ;)

I didn’t receive a “thank you” e-mail today… now I’m freaking out.

I didn’t get one either. I’ll consider it a “thank you but no thank you” email to make myself feel better :p

Well when I got it, it was just a thank you for attending the college week live thing. I don’t think it’s any kind of decider so no need to freak out lol.

its through the community college, and you get your tuition covered purr? through parents or just you? they are supposed to pay for housing because my dad gets it and so that means i get it but he says they wont

@clamfest I see…

This wait feels like as if I’m waiting for the pregnancy test, telling me if I’m pregnant or not… ITS KILLING ME!

@yazziiie hahaha right?! I just don’t get why there’s so much space between the batches…the same happened to me last year for UCSD and was waitlisted, only to not get in. This time I TAG’d, but I still don’t know for sure ugh.

I’m a veteran, so all tuition & fees are covered to state schools and I get a book stipend every year. Plus, we made too much to qualify for any FA for 2012-13 and I’m guessing it’s the same for next year.

So I noticed someone else mentioned they hadn’t done their fafsa yet, and I had filled it out several days after the suggested deadline (March 8th) (I will definitely not be eligible for financial aid, so I was in no rush), so when I noticed someone say “you dun goofed,” it got me worried.
Is there an effect on your acceptance or the time you receive your application decision if you do it late?

^Lmao. No, you’re fine. He just said it because you were late in filing for FAFSA.
