[li] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: B/c of my 4.0![/li][/ul]General Comments:

okay is there a UCI transfer FB Group?? if not, someone should make one :P

@SBVett i got in to SDSU back in March. and Just got into UCI todayy

Congrats!! I’m still pending, of course! Maybe you don’t need to spend 400 at SDSU anymore, huh?
And I think the people that got in in the previous batches made a group. Try to look a few pages back!

@SBVett ah thank you!! omg!! I know how you feel, i’m sure you will get in with your GPA.! what is your major??
I just feel that SDSU’s program suits me better (journalism- media studies) and I got in UCI for Film and Media studies… So… the problem is just the major… =… and i have never been to both campuses either,
but if I get in to UCD for Communication major then i’m most def going for it… >_<

Same here, still pending. So apparently they released some more decisions today.

Still pending here, too. Would be so much fun waiting all this time just to get rejected.

and last night they release decisions through the middle of the night…ugh

You guys that got accepted today, had you checked earlier? Do you think it’s a fresh batch from today or the same as last night?
@formomilan, I got in for Cell and Molecular Biology at SDSU and applied to UCI for Biological Sciences or Chemistry (alternative).
SDSU does have the big advantage of owning PBS, that’s pretty big. I bet it makes a difference for people that study journalism there. It’s nice that you get to make the choice, though
On a side note, I’m going to SDSU tomorrow, I don’t wanna SIR without ever being to the campus first, lol

Augh still nothing. I wanna SIR already!!!

Friday night and we’re all refreshing our portal pages. This is just sad lol
And that’s true, they did release decisions throughout the evening! I’m still pending too…

yes I want to know if those are fresh decisions from today or from yesterday and @formomilan just checked it today?

@SBVett - well, to be fair - I’m also watching the Giants v Padres…while refreshing the portal

this is for my daughter’s application - she’s waiting for me to tell her if she gets in

weird that SDSU would require $400 to SIR. SFSU is $100. You’d think it would be the same at all the state campuses.

@SBVett Well it’s that or study for my physics exam, which is on Monday. lol I guess I should go back to that.

@bayareaxfer, good luck to your daughter! You’re a dedicated mom!
I think SDSU is the only one with the ridiculous SIR fee. If it was 100 I probably would have paid it already just to be safe, but it’s harder to basically gamble $400 in non-refundable fees
@Ellycin, physics is probably the right choice haha! Which one are you taking? I’m currently taking Physics 2, E&M… Good luck on your exam!

@sbvett - meh, I do alright. Yeah - I agree. $400 is a yes, not a maybe. Hopefully we all hear back before the May 1st deadline so we don’t HAVE to gamble.

@sbvett - but…thank you =)

Good luck to you, too - and everyone that’s waiting to hear back!

This is so annoying. How can UCLA, UCSD, and UCB get ALL their applications processed before UCI? It doesn’t make sense. grumble grumble

My gf just got admitted as a second bachelor for mechanical engineering. It was just updated a few minutes ago.

Not all. Me, @fuzzyducky and some others are STILL pending at UCSD, and I think some people are still pending at UCLA too - I took a brief look at their thread.
The wait continues. But still, come on UCI! I wonder why they push it so far and then try to teach us not to procrastinate… :/
