<p>Just checked my portal, rejected for Chemical Engineering.</p>
<p>Still nothing. I wonder if people at admission offices read forums like these and get off on the thought of making people suffer by waiting till the very end. At the very least I wish they’d just do the bulk of rejections first.</p>
<p>Rejected… Definitely going to appeal. This is so unfair… Thought I’d be able to get in with above 3.5+ GPA, all prereqs done, a bunch of ECs, a good letter, and difficult personal circumstances.</p>

<p>my daughter was just rejected, too - really thought she had a chance when she filled out the supplemental questionnaire.</p>

<p>I think UCI made mistakes today!! They sent me an email yesterday asking me to submit a supplemental questionnaire and it was due on may 3. however, they rejected me even before I could even submit my questionnaire!!</p>

. Sent in a appeal for ucsb accounting but no words back yet. Will appeal for uci Monday. I don’t have high hope though
Debating over whether to go to ucsc bus management econ or go to csu Fullerton. </p>

<p>@fuzzy how are you going to go about appealing? What’s your main premise going to be? I had probably a small chance of making it with my 3.1 gpa but I did get my pre-reqs done and planned my classes to satisfy uc reciprocity! I probably have fallen behind a bit in the normal curriculum… </p>
<p>Anyways I’m definitely going to appeal! I’m an mechanical engineer so I’m going to show pictures of what I’ve built and what I plan on putting into mass production(invention) with the knowledge I’ve attained. I never got really close to any of my professors except one math professor. I can probably get a letter from him.</p>
<p>I’m still depressed though, don’t want to go study for my midterms anymore… What’s the point.</p>

<p>@nchung-wrong person lol, but i think you should really consider fullerton, since i heard its a good school for business and you can probably get a job right after considering the location and how solid the program is, just my opinion.</p>

<p>I am seriously losing it now. A mix of rage and sadness. I don’t understand what happened if I was approved in the fall and I didn’t have a back up. I can’t freaking believe this.</p>

I heard that nearly everyone who appealed got in last year, so there’s always hope!.. don’t give up if it is your first only choice.</p>
