<p>@fischover I highly doubt that. That sounds more like Merced. They take all the rejects. I didn’t apply for financial aid last year and I still got rejected to UCI so I don’t think so. That would be awesome though haha. </p>

<p>Not even close - UCI is one of the most selective now right there with SD and ahead of UCD now - </p>
<p>Best of luck to all - a few pages back a few have stated they called UCI admissions and were told there would be random batches until the 30th…so don’t be discouraged. (my son who is still pending @ UCI (3.65+ GPA - no missing requirements) didn’t get his acceptance @ UCR until 4/16 … no rhyme or reason for the order these things come out)</p>
