<p>Well, well, well… Looks like UCI finally sent me a packet. I am not impressed! UCI and UCSD packets were pretty bad. UCLA packet was amazing. Made me feel giddy! But yeah, how do I decline UCI’s admission offer. I have somewhat forgot to do that. </p>

<p>I wish if President Obama chose to speak at UCI next year so I can be there, but this definitely shows how promising this school is for convincing the president to choose UCI as his public university choice.</p>

<p>I got it a few days ago and live in Irvine. Not sure why it took this long unless an admissions counselor saw that I SIR’ed to UCLA and decided to wipe my letter of acceptance in between his butt before sending it off within the admission packet.</p>
<p>Hey guys, I’m considering UCI as my safety school for Fall 2015, but I’m about 45 minutes away (without traffic). Anyone else who accepted this Fall planning on commuting? How far? What’s reasonable? Thanks, my wife says I’m crazy to even consider it. I’m in the Westchester area of LA.</p>
<p>I’m commuting but I’m only 20 minutes away. I think some folks here were willing to commute all the way from SD? 45 minutes isn’t a bad commute. I drove about that far to get to CSUF when I was going there. </p>
<p>@fullload I think acceptable is whatever your willing to drive for your education. I personally am willing to drive from San Diego, since it’s been a dream school of mine and it’s possible. 45 minutes isn’t too bad, but traffic can always make it worse. I look at it like I only have two years, if you don’t mind the drive and the miles why the not! </p>
