I'm getting worried that I won't be able to afford college in the coming years because my financial aid doesn't cover everything and my dad recently lost his job. Irvine's an expensive place, and if I went to UCLA, I'd have the option to live at home and save thousands of dollars.

So I decided, I might as well try transferring. I'm a double major in Computer Science Engineering and Mathematics, taking more than the maximum amount of units (through permission by the counselor). My GPA is going to be somewhere between 3.5 and 3.6 when I apply. I'm going to try applying for the same majors, with CSE a first priority.

Would anyone know how much UCLA considers course load, double majors, or financial situations when transferring?
