So I’ve been admitted as a transfer to UCI as a psychology and social behavior and fullerton as a health science major. I am interested in becoming a P.A. My problem is I am trying my best to change my major (UCI) to public health, but was unable to because the course I took at a certain CCC was non transferable. I thought most bio courses in the same CCC district is considered transferable to UCI…apparently it isn’t. The bio course that I need isn’t offered during the summer… so my question is would it just be better to attend fullerton or fight it out with UCI? I really want to go to UCI, but I am not sure if it’ll be worth the effort and time.
I’d fight it out, if (a) you have a chance of winning and/or (b) the worst case scenario is you retake the course at UCI and it doesn’t force you to plunk down an extra term’s worth of tuition.
As long as you can afford the extra tuition, UCI is probably the right choice. After all, you ‘really want to go to UCI’… so go.
