UCI vs CSULB for Psychology

Hi, does anyone know about these programs offered on the campuses. I'd like to know more about the schools from current students if possible.

I was accepted at CSULB for Psychology and then accepted recently of the waitlist for PSy chology and Social Behavior at UCI.

I plan to go to graduate school. Thanks.

anyone have any input? im very curious as my friend is facing the same choice

This isn’t even close; UC Irvine is hands down the better choice. The UC’s are in almost every case superior to the CSU’s. They get more resources, they get the better students and faculty, and they command much more respect from academics, employers, and the general public than the CSU’s. UC Irvine will give you both a better education and a superior launching pad for graduate school than CSU Long Beach. If you later decide to work for a few years before graduate school, you will also have a much better time finding a job as a UC Irvine graduate than as a CSU Long Beach graduate. I would therefore give my strongest possible recommendation to choosing UC Irvine over CSU Long Beach.

UCI all the way! I know a few people who did PSB there and they loved it.
