Hey guys!
With 8 days left to submit my SIR, I'm hopelessly torn between NYU and UC Irvine.

Here we goooooooooo......

My major is International Relations, so it would make sense to go to NYU (UN, ect ect), plus NYU has crazy alumni networking and job connections, PLUS internships in the city where EVERYTHING is.

UC Irvine also has a pretty legit International Studies program. Not the exact same thing at Int'l Relations, but I'm open to either right now.

I would graduate with about $100,000 in loans from NYU. But would the job connections balance it out? The traveling back and forth would also be hard on my parents.
With Irvine, I would graduate with $32,000 in loans.

I live in the Bay Area, so Irvine is closer to home, and I would have a starting base of friends there. But would obviously make many new ones at either college.

I keep pushing my parents to visit NYU, and we're supposed to go this week, so I still need a feel for the "campus", or lack thereof. I'm not sure if the lack of an actual campus would bother me, but I come from a high school with CRAZY spirit and have always been involved with my class, and ASB, ect ect. But friends at NYU tell me you have a certain pride in becoming a New Yorker.

Oh, and if I go to Irvine, I can bring my car :)

Alright those are my thoughts for now.

Any info/thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks :)
