UCI vs. Purdue

<p>I really don't know which one to go.</p>

<p>UC Irvine - Undeclared
Purdue U - Mechanical Engineering Technology</p>

<p>Most of people recommend me to go to Purdue U because it is a well-known engineering school. But the problem is, it is not Mechanical Engineering; it is Mechanical Engineering Technology... (I believe MET is blue collar)</p>

<p>So I 65% decided to go to UCI but then its engineering reputation and overall study mood in the campus are kinda bad... (and the campus is new too)</p>

<p>I know UCI has great weather and environment (which attract me a lot :)) but I really don't know which one to go...
Any help? Thanks!</p>

Have you seen the student body makeup at both schools?</p>
