<p>Can someone list the pros/cons of these schools.</p>
<p>Academics, Athletics, Social Life, Campus, Dorms, Food, Surrounding Areas, Location....whatever you guys know about these schools I WANT TO HEAR IT.</p>
<p>Academics: UCI = UCD
Athletics: UCI < UCD
Social Life: UCI < UCD
Campus: UCI < UCD
Dorms: UCI = UCD
Food: UCI = UCD
Surrounding Areas: UCI > UCD
Location: UCI > UCD</p>
<p>Academically they are both mid-tier UCs. You can get a good education at either one.</p>
<p>Davis is perhaps the only true College Town in California. UCI, by contrast, is largely a commuter school. However, Irvine has better weather.</p>
<p>Well I decided on applying to UCI over UCD bc I want to be close to the beach. So I think I finally figured out my college list. So if you want to make a comment about it that would be great.</p>
