UCI vs UCSB for engineering

i got into UCI and UCSB for engineering and im trying to decide which one is better. I’m not sure which field of engineering exaclty, but im leaning towards mechanical (what i applied for) or computer (what i am interested in.)

any ideas?

University of California–Berkeley * 4.7

Univ. of California–Los Angeles * 3.7
Univ. of California–San Diego * 3.7

University of California–Davis * 3.4
Univ. of California–Santa Barbara * 3.4

University of California–Irvine * 3.1

Univ. of California–Riverside * 2.5

What about like the school dynamics? class sizes? intern opportunities? how are the professors and students there? are the dorms nice? haha i live in Hong Kong so i wont be able to visit the campuses myself.... thanks a bunch!

Go the uci and ucsb forums in order to get an idea what the schools are like. There are plenty of older post explaining their atmosphers.
