@rkarjala Hopefully that isn’t the case lol, but usually they will send us an email in regards to any decision
@rkarjala according to previous years’ threads, UCI will notify people on the waitlist via email or portal when the waitlist is closed.
Just thought I’d let y’all know that I still haven’t gotten any email about a portal update, despite my portal being updated a week ago. Keep checking your portals!! They probably won’t notify

@futureanteater97 I got an email about an update in my portal at around 11:30 today. I noticed yesterday that my portal changed because the waitlist info disappeared. Thank you!! Best of luck to you!
Is there any hope for a psych wave or should I just assume I’m rejected?
There is still hope so long as rejections havent gone out it might take a while cause it seems to be based on major and these majors are being left last that or they are out of space and havent admitted.

Will all waitlist decisions be released by June 1st, 2020? Did anybody call UCI admission and confirm that?
@milkpottttt I asked an admission counselor in the live chat box and she said it could be until late summer, specifically late august or early September

It says on the official UC admissions page that all waitlists applicants will know of their status by the end of June. I believe the July-August timeline is mainly for appeals
