<p>got accepted to UCI major - Biology</p>
<p>UCD, UCI, and UCSB are all pretty much the same as far as academics US News says:</p>
<ol>
<li>Davis</li>
<li>Irvine</li>
<li>Santa Barbara</li>
</ol>
<p>Not that US News is the font of all knowledge on college but pretty much they are all virtually the same academically and it is lame to debate one over the other as far as academics. Go to whichever school you like the best after visiting, as the atmosphere is different at each location.</p>
<p>anyone who didnt get their acceptance letter yet or havent found out about UCI .. dont need to worry.. i think in my personal opinion .. it's based by majors.. i got accepted.. and my grades and sats scores are that great ... then again .they're not even good! haha</p>

<p>yeah i expected from day 1 that after the first day they would be released by majors even though the lady said they randomly post acceptions and rejections</p>

<p>got accepted under criminology too.. so hence the idea that they mite be doing the letters by major u picked</p>
<p>I believe that the schools are looking not at SAT's and GPA's this time around but your extra curricular activities as well as your major.</p>
