<p>Everybody has an UCInet ID - freshmen, transfers, grad students, etc (the instructions for activating that should have been given to you with your admissions email/info).</p>

<p>It is very important and will be central to virtually all of your businesses relating to UCI, not just internet connection. You’ll need it for student email, registering for classes, paying bills, dorms, etc, etc, etc.</p>

<p>Check your prior correspondence papers and emails to see if you may have missed the directions for activation.
